Faculty Member Appointed as an Official Alumni Ambassador of Institute of Science Tokyo
Dr. Abu Shameem MD Saadat Khandakar, a faculty member of the Department of Medical Biology at our faculty, has been appointed as an official Alumni Ambassador by the Institute of Science Tokyo, one of Japan's leading higher education institutions, ranked 97th globally in the QS World University Rankings.
This prestigious appointment represents a valuable contribution to our Faculty’s efforts in internationalization, academic collaboration, scientific interaction, and the development of global academic networks. Through this role, Dr. Khandakar is expected to contribute to strengthening academic and scientific relations between Gaziantep University and Institute of Science Tokyo, fostering new opportunities for collaborative research and educational activities.
The appointment also aligns with the Faculty’s strategic priorities in internationalization, stakeholder engagement, academic development, and scientific productivity, which are among the key areas emphasized within institutional and program accreditation processes.
